As his lawyers sought the judge's recusal, Donald Trump called a gag order banning him from assaulting people engaged in his future hush money lawsuit "election interference" on Tuesday.

the court amended the gag order to include comments against the magistrate and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's family on Monday.

The gag order from last week prohibited Trump from discussing potential witnesses, lawyers, and court staff.

In Truth Social posts, the Republican presidential contender attacked Judge Juan Merchan and his daughter, prompting the order expansion.

They can talk about me, but not vice versa? It seems fair, right?

"This judge should be recused and the case dismissed.Merchan ordered on Monday that Trump's "pattern of attacking family members of presiding jurists and attorneys assigned to his cases serves no legitimate purpose."

"It merely injects fear in those assigned or called to participate in the proceedings, that not only they, but their family members as well, are 'fair game' for defendant's vitriol."
