'The Young and the Restless' star Jennifer Leak passed away; she was 76 years old.

Soap opera star Jennifer Leak, known for "The Young and the Restless" and "Yours, Mine and Ours," has passed away, announced by ex-husband Tim Matheson. 

Matheson shared the news on Facebook, expressing sorrow over Leak's death and praising her as a remarkable woman. 

Leak and Matheson, who were married from 1968 to 1971, portrayed step-siblings in "Yours, Mine and Ours." 

Matheson extended condolences to Leak's husband, James D’Auria, and friends. Leak died on March 18 from progressive supranuclear palsy. 

In the film, Leak played Colleen, daughter of Lucille Ball's character, while Matheson portrayed Frank Beardsley's son. 

"Yours, Mine and Ours" depicted the merging of two families with 18 children. A 2005 remake starred Dennis Quaid and Rene Russo. 

Leak starred in various soap operas before retiring, including "Guiding Light" and "Another World." 

After leaving Hollywood, Leak worked in real estate and married D’Auria in 1977. She was born in Wales and began her career in the Canadian drama "Wojeck" in 1966.
