Roll-Ups with Bacon


1/3 cup finely chopped onion 1 tbsp butter 3 cups cubed day-old bread 1/4 tsp celery salt

1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/8 tsp salt 1/8 tsp pepper 1 big, lightly beaten egg 10 bacon strips

Sauté onion in butter in a small skillet until soft. Throw the bread cubes, celery salt, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and onion combination into a large basin and mix well. 

Toss bread cubes in egg. Make ten 1-1/4-inch balls.

Individually wrap bacon strips around balls. Secure with toothpick.

Cook bacon roll-ups on all sides in a large pan over medium heat for 18 minutes or until bacon is crisp and stuffing thermometer reads 160°. Drain on paper towels.
