Insider analyzes whether Aaron Rodgers has lost authority with the Jets.

During Friday's broadcast of FS1's "The Herd with Colin Cowherd

Cowherd asked NFL insider Dianna Russini of The Athletic if quarterback Aaron Rodgers had lost any power over personnel decisions made by the New York Jets' management.

"Aaron Rodgers has not lost any power at all," Russini responded.

"He 100 percent is involved in everything the New York Jets have done."

The Jets appear to have spent last offseason analyzing an alleged "wish list of free agents" Rodgers wanted the team to sign before agreeing to a trade from the Green Bay Packers to Gang Green.

Some, such as wide receiver Allen Lazard, eventually signed with the Jets but then performed poorly after Rodgers suffered a ruptured Achilles four offensive snaps into the regular season start.

This time around, the Jets did a good job of bolstering their offensive line and providing Rodgers with a weapon in former Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams

It's unclear whether Rodgers approved such changes before they were made.
