Country Star Lainey Wilson Joins Cast of 'Yellowstone'

Yellowstone is becoming (even more) country!

According to Deadline, singer Lainey Wilson will play Abby, a musician, in Taylor Sheridan's smash series.

The country singer celebrated the news on Instagram, posting a shot of herself on set in Montana, with the famed Dutton Ranch in the backdrop.

"See y'all on season 5 of Yellowstone," Wilson captioned the post.

Wilson, a Baskin, Louisiana native, won two ACM Awards in 2021: New Female Artist

of the Year and Song of the Year for her smash hit "Things a Man Oughta Know."

Kai Caster from American Horror Story will also appear in the future season, playing a cowboy named Rowdy.

Deadline also announced that Josh Lucas will return as a young John Dutton.

Yellowstone season five will launch on Paramount Network on November 13. It will be an extra-long season of 14 episodes, split into two seven-episode portions.
