Coco Gauff Porsche Tennis Grand Prix 2024 Draw: American May Face 3 Superstars, Dismissing ‘WTA Favoritism’ Claims

Before clay court season, Coco Gauff had a good start. Gauff will try to win in the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix before the French Open 2024 in five weeks.

She may face the most top-5 seeded players in Stuttgart, making it difficult to win.

As World No.3, Coco Gauff is in the bottom side of the draw. A first-round bye will go to the #3 seed.

The second round match against Sachia Vickery will start Gauff's campaign on Wednesday afternoon. Gauff will reach the WTA 500 quarterfinals after defeating her compatriot.

Many tennis fans believe Coco Gauff has the easiest draw of the top players and accuse the tournament organizers and WTA of favoring her.

Gauff has long been considered Serena Williams' heir, but these latest charges of her favoritism are unfounded.

The 20-year-old will face #5 Qinwen Zheng on Thursday, April 18, to start her harder draw. The two will encounter for the first time in their careers in the quarterfinals in Germany,

but Zheng reached the Australian Open 2024 finals. Even if Gauff wins, Aryna Sabalenka could be her semifinal opponent, making the semifinals the final before the final.
