Leading CMA Lainey Wilson announces a national tour for the summer and fall of 2024.

The rising country music sensation Lainey Wilson, who is nominated for the most CMA Awards this year, has announced a headline tour that will take her across the country from May to November of 2024.

Starting May 31 at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheatre and ending Nov. 15 in Monroe, Louisiana’s Civic Center, the singer and “Yellowstone” actor will commemorate her run of No. 1 country songs with performances that start and end in the areas she calls home. The “Country’s Cool Again Tour” will stop at locations like L.A.’s Greek Theatre on September 1 and New York’s Radio City Music Hall on June 26.

Although Wilson recently performed at Colorado’s Red Rocks, these 2024 dates mark her first time touring the country as an amphitheater and theater topper. Her 2023 tour primarily took place in smaller venues.

Prior to the general on-sale, which begins on October 27 at 10 a.m. local time at LaineyWilson.com, a series of presales will commence on Monday and last throughout the week. The tour is being produced by Live Nation.

Wilson has nine nominations coming into the CMA Awards this year, significantly more than the next closest competitor, Jelly Roll, who has five. She is up for two awards: single of the year, for “Heart Like a Truck” and “Wait in the Truck,” the latter of which is a joint effort with Hardy, and album of the year, for her sophomore album “Bell Bottom Country.” She is also up for the highest prize, entertainer of the year.

Wilson’s third No. 1 hit of the month, “Watermelon Moonshine,” has been at the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart for three weeks. It was the first time since her own breakthrough hit “Things a Man Oughta Know” reached No. 1 two years prior that a solo female artist had topped the chart for even one week, much less three. In addition, she is featured on Jelly Roll’s rapidly ascending top 20 smash song “Save Me,” which has the potential to propel her back to the top of the charts.
