Kelly Clarkson Awesomely Covers Hank Williams’ 1949 Classic “Mind Your Own Business”

The Kellyoke section that Kelly Clarkson does on her daytime chat program is a fan favorite, and she has recently been taking her covers to the next level. Kelly Clarkson has once again demonstrated that she is capable of singing anything, as evidenced by her performance of Hank Williams’ iconic song “Mind Your Own Business,” which was released in 1949. The charges that she is unable to sing anything appear to be genuine.

Hank Williams Jr., Reba McEntire, Willie Nelson, Tom Petty, and Reverend Ike were among the artists who covered the son in 1986. Hank Williams Jr. was also a member of the band. The song was included on Hank Jr.’s album Montana Cafe, and it experienced a great deal of success on the charts, reaching the top spot on the country charts for two weeks in a row.

Clarkson hit the stage with her band to perform the vibrant country interpretation. She was dressed in a nice vest and trousers combo. Her rendition is undeniably reminiscent of a traditional honkytonk session, and she has been putting in a lot of work with country tunes over the course of the previous several months. She has played alongside artists such as George Strait, Jelly Roll, and Keith Urban, and she even collaborated with Lainey Wilson on her most recent single, “Country’s Cool Again.”

Kelly Clarkson always knocks the house down on Kellyoke.

In a recent performance, Kelly Clarkson gave an incredible rendition of “Over the Rainbow,” which, as is customary for her, garnered appreciation from her devoted followers. Due to the fact that she used to sing the song to her two children, she has previously expressed her affection for the song as well as her personal connection to it.

One of Clarkson’s fans remarked, “HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!!!” in response to her performance. “Okay, Judy Garland is the Standard, and no one will ever be able to surpass her, but (in my opinion) this is the BEST VERSION of the many, many, many, many, many covers that we have all heard!!! “OF COURSE, KC Would Have to Be the One!”

In addition, Clarkson recently gave a performance of “Somebody Like You” by Keith Urban for Kellyoke, and Urban was the one who offered the most positive feedback regarding her interpretation of his hit song.

“Oh, Kelly!!!! I adore the way you are singing this. My goodness, I like you singing anything you want to sing… do you take requests? Clarkson was questioned by Urban on Twitter/X. One of Urban’s followers on social media expressed their desire to see the two of them perform together on the show. In response to Urban, the fan said, “Kelly was freaking awesome singing your song.” I would be thrilled to see you perform beside her once again on her show.
